Belville Community garden offer a range of training packages for people that want to learn more about food growing, planter construction and cookery skills. Our courses are comprensive and include many additional elements including ‘Love Food Hate Waste’ training and social enterprise skills.

Belville Community garden offer a range of construction training to new volunteers including woodworking skills, tool handling, health and safety at work, garden design and brick laying. These are available to people that require to build their skills set and confidence in helping to boost job opportunities for those struggling to find employment. A range of people can be supported to gain meaningful employment from our training courses.
Belville Community Garden grow a range of vegetables and flowers in their garden in Greenock. OUTDOORS we have an orchard, sensory garden, biodiversity area, kitchen herb planters and larger vegetable growing raised beds. INDOORS we are trialling a new growing method of hydroponic vegetable production to show that high yields of leafy greens can be grown all year round in an urban environment.
