Such a simple recipe for a sweet treat! Containing things like fibre, antioxidants and vitamin C, this recipe is quick to make and even quicker to eat. Yum!

Remember: an easy way to remember the crumble mix – whatever your flour is, half it and that is your margarine and sugar!

 500 g frozen berries or summer fruits
 250 g flour
 125 g sugar
 125 g margarine
Method
1

1. Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Put the flour, margarine and sugar in a bowl and squash together with your fingers into a crumble texture.
2. Spoon the fruit into an ovenproof dish. If the berries are sour, sprinkle over a little extra sugar.
3. Sprinkle the crumble mix over the fruit and bake for 15 mins.

Additions and alternatives

Try apples, rhubarb, apricots or plums as alternative fruits.
Serve with ice cream, custard or cream.
Add 50g rolled oats to add to the fibre content.
If your fruit is very sweet, lessen your sugar to make it a bit healthier.
